Caverna Escaroba

Localizada em Formosa - GO a Caverna Escaroba  encontra-se incrustada em uma enorme pedreira, com um córrego in your interior entering through a sinkhole and exiting through an upwelling. Filled with rock formations (speleothems)such as stalactites, stalagmites, columns and various travertine dams.

The trail is on an easy level, passing through several giant trees of the Paineira species (belly), until the arrival  the entrance to the cave, which has about 200m from its_cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_extension.

 

Our access is through a skylight using rappelling techniques, we walk a few meters inside the cave and soon we come across another rappel of about 4 meters in a small waterfall. We continue walking through the cave passing through several speleothems until we reach the upwelling, where the water runs outside the cave again.

Unfortunately the cave is closed to visitors.
